Entropy.

Inspired by the concept of entropy — a motif I first encountered in John Updike’s Rabbit Tetralogy — this series explores the transition from order to randomness and uncertainty. Entropy as a leitmotif became increasingly popular during the 1960s across both the visual arts and literature to describe physical, social, and moral decay. 

With this visual essay, I visually interpret and document the impact of entropic degradation on human society in the new millennium. As the project evolves, it will continue to mirror the second law of thermodynamics, moving inevitably towards irreversible chaos.
